Millions of Americans are preparing to take flight for the Memorial Day holiday this weekend - and airports across the tristate region are bracing for one of the busiest travel weekends of the year. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey says more than 2.1 million passengers are expected to move through area airports over the five-day holiday stretch - potentially breaking last year’s record-setting numbers.
