Now, that question is driving a renewed push in legislation - aimed at preventing tragedies like this.

Even in the days after a major snowstorm blanketed the region, many North Jersey residents say one problem is still hard to shake: finding salt. If you don’t yet have a REAL ID, you’ve got about 10 days before new policies take effect. The TSA says travelers without REAL ID-compliant identification will have to pay a 45-dollar fee just to get through security, unless you carry additional forms of ID such as a passport.
