With only days to go until Election Day, the final push is on in New Jersey’s heated race for governor. Early in-person voting is in effect and continues through this weekend. Jack Ciattarelli’s team greeted voters in Morris County, just one of many stops he and his campaign team are making throughout the state in the final days before election day. The candidate is pushing his campaign message to lower the cost of living in New Jersey and says they are focusing on affordability and fiscal responsibility.

“New Jerseyans face the highest overall tax burden in the country, making the affordability crisis worse - is what’s going on with electricity,” said Jack Ciattarelli. “Also housing, the cost of housing in the state which is usually more than 50% of anybody's personal budget.”

And here on Waverly Place in Madison, officials say this diner stop is part of Jack Ciattarelli’s campaign push to get people to vote early.

“It’s extremely important that people get out and vote,” said Jim Gannon. “That’s the opportunity you have, you have the power to make those decisions so get out to vote, get your friends out to vote. As we say, friends don’t let friends not vote. Get out and vote.”

And while they’re here in an effort to encourage voters to get out and vote early, members on the republican ticket are also continuing to stand firm on Jack Ciattarelli’s message on affordability. The campaign team says they hope Ciattarelli’s message will not only inspire republican voters but also resonate with voters who are still undecided.

“There’s a New Jersey that I remember,” said Jack Ciattarelli. “It’s a state where you can get the education of your dreams, the job of your dreams, you could raise a family, you could start a business and  you could retire here. Those are the things that people feel terribly insecure about, if not fearful of today and I refuse to be the governor of a state in which people live with insecurity and fear.”
